Environment
Tree Plantation Drives are a recent initiative by the group (IIL) to convert various barren parks and university grounds into green fields. The first goal of this initiative was to plant at least 20,000 trees by the end of 2019 which was achieved in December 2019. The next drive has been initiated by Hamid Ismail Foundation (NGO playing the role of CSR wing of IIL) to plant 10,000 more trees in 2020.
Health
Deteriorating health is a rising concern in Pakistan,and especially in karachi. Millions of lives could be saved every year if individuals had facilities like heath care,clean water and good nutrition. The medical camps arranged by Hamid Ismail Foundation (HIF) serve as a relief for the citizens of this enormous city who lack financial recources to treat every day illnesses.
Clean Water Facilitation
Hamid Ismail Foundation (HIF) has established various projects with the aim to provide clean drinking water in low lying areas of Karachi. 6 RO plants and 6 filtration plants have been established and are currently running under HIF supervision; free of cost to provide clean drinking water for the residents of Shantinagar and Manzoor Colony, Karachi.
Education
Large amount of communities living in remote areas in Pakistan have no access to quality education, neither can they afford it. Pakistan is facing a serious challenge to ensure that children particularly from the underprivileged areas attend school, and make progress to improve and spread education all across for a better future.
Hamid Ismail Foundation (HIF)
Hamid Ismail Foundation is an independent not-for-profit organization in Pakistan founded by Mr. Hamid Ismail in 2019.
